Courtney Van DeMaat.

9/30/07:  Even though idle, Courtney Van DeMaat Clinches her 2nd GP Championship!  Carly and Cori Bates add to their season point totals at 4H and move up in the standings!

9/16/07:  No movement at the top of the standings following Wild Cat.  Brett is the only one left who could possibly catch Courtney with two races left.

9/1/07:  Courtney and Brett duel again at Stampede.  Courtney is positioning herself for the Fall.  She is close to the point of having secured enough points...

7/27/07:  Courtney appears intent on repeating...

Next 5:  Emily Stych, Grace Jedlicka, Melanie Lutrull, Tatum Koening, Morgan Harden.

15-29

Nancy Foxen.

10/12/07:  Mackenzie finishes 2nd overall at MHSCC for the women and upgrades for the 3rd time this season!  Gretchen gets in her 3rd race and jumps all the way to a 3rd place finish for the season!

9/30/07:  Nancy Upgrades to the perfect 6000!  Mackenzie also upgrades, doing so for the 2nd time this season and finishes 2nd overall for the women at 4H!

9/16/07:  Nancy Foxen wins her 5th race of the season, and in so doing, Clinches her 1st Grand Prix Championship!  Mackenzie Holladay upgrades at Wild Cat and adds more points to a stellar season!

9/1/07:  Mackenzie keeps 1st, Nancy adds more points with her 4th outrace race victory and the championship will be decided in the Fall!

7/27/07:  Mackenzie and Nancy go back and forth with having the lead!

Next 5:  Sami Moody, Paige Crowe, Mackenzie Fuller, Rachel Reed, Rachel Price.

30-34

Kandice Tjebkes.

9/30/07:  Kandice Tjebkes Clinches her 4th GP Championship!

9/16/07:  No movement at the top of the standings with results from Wild Cat Den.

9/1/07:  Kandice is Kruising!

Kandice and Holly, each former GP winners, are in 1st and 2nd after 5 races!

Next 5:  Michele Hall, Heather Timmsen, Trina Hepker, Sally Hoenig, Brenda Erber.

35-39

10/12/07:  Shelly adds a 4th race and points to her season point total!

9/30/07:  Stacey Clinches GP Championship #3!  Tammie upgrades, while Natalie and Sherri add to their season point totals as well!

9/16/07:  Tammi draws closer to Stacey following Wild Cat Den!

9/1/07:  Stacey adds race effort #5, Natalie #4 and they maintain their place in the standings.  Three races left!

7/27/07:  Stacey is back in 1st, Tammi adds to her point total with her 5th effort and Natalie is solidly in 3rd.

Next 5:  Sara Swanson, Michelle Beik, Holly Runge, Jackie Henderson, Kerry Mead.

40-44

Lisa Hughes.

10/12/07:  Lisa upgrades with her MHSCC win!  Daphne also upgrades with her 9th race of the season!  Kelly gets her 3rd race of the season and finishes in 3rd!

9/30/07:  Daphne upgrades for the 2nd time this season!

9/16/07:  Lisa Hughes Clinches her 5th GP Championship!  Daphne Donald upgrades at Wild Cat Den and absolutely destroys her previous personal record for points in a season!

9/1/07:  This age division is so deep!  Look at the points scored at Stampede!  Daphne keeps first.  Lisa edges closer...

7/27/07:  Daphne and Lisa remain #1 and #2 with four races left!

Next 5:  Kim Wiele, Heidi Timmons, Cara McFerren, Jana Feldman, Toni Eller.

45-49

Peggy Bailey.

10/12/07:  Peggy, Teri and Paula all upgrade!  Julie Hammann races for the 6th time and finishes in 5th!

9/30/07:  Peggy Bailey Clinches her 1st GP Championship with a 282 point upgrade!  Teri and Paula  also add to season point totals at 4H!

9/16/07:  Two races left!  Two racers left!  It may quite likely come down to who can score the biggest upgrade...

9/1/07:  6 of the top 10 race at Stampede!  Peggy adds to her lead...

Peggy has the lead, Teri and Paula, former GP winners are in 2nd and 3rd, and Julie adds to her point total with her fourth effort of the year!

Next 5:  Kristen Kuhre-Holmquist, Nora Dwyer, Susan Freers, Teresa Flack, Mary Zeimet.

Nancy Shell.

10/12/07:  Barb gets her 6th race in and jumps back into 2nd place to finish the season!

9/30/07:  Nancy Upgrades!  Jean moves into 2nd with her 4H effort!

9/16/07:  Nancy Shell Clinches her 4th GP Championship with a solid effort at Wild Cat Den!

9/1/07:  8 of the top 10 raced at Stampede!  Nancy and Barb stay in 1st and 2nd.

Nancy is repeating the "Shell Game."  Barb is in 2nd with three 1st half efforts.

Next 5:  Luann Ferreira, Margaret Miles, Jayne Beverlin, Jeanne Pelleteri, Patty Freese.

55-59

JoLynn Krueger.

9/30/07:  JoLynn Upgrades and Elaine adds to her season point total with her 4H race effort!

9/16/07:  JoLynn Krueger is part of a small group who Clinch a Grand Prix Championship following Wild Cat Den.  Great job!

9/1/07:  JoLynn gets her 6th race in and keeps a solid hold on 1st!  Next up, upgrading her point total, opportunities to drop a low score with another effort or two (or three!)  Elaine adds #3 and remains in 2nd.

7/27/07:  JoLynn not only has the division lead, but might be the lock for female GP rookie-of-the-year, if there was such an official designation.

Next 5:  Pat Garmon, Debbie Eckert, Pat Schaapveld, Cynthia Garvin, Becky Furlong.

60-64

JoAnn Jensen.

10/12/07:  JoAnn Clinches her 5th GP Championship!  Madonna finishes another solid season having raced all 9 races!

9/30/07:  JoAnn takes back 1st.  Madonna upgrades and keeps herself in contention.

9/16/07:  Very interesting...Will JoAnn race again?  Can Madonna hang keep the lead with a couple more "upgrades?"

9/1/07:  Madonna and JoAnn are still in 1st and 2nd!

7/27/07:  Madonna and JoAnn are #1 and #2 over halfway through the season.

Next 3:  Linda Pace, Priscilla Haessig, UNK Patterson.

65-69

10/12/07:  Ann adds points at MHSCC!  Donna Lemkau Clinches her 1st GP Championship by the smallest point difference  in the 5 year history of the Muscatine Grand Prix!

9/30/07:  Sue K., adds to her season point total at 4H!

9/16/07:  Wow, is this going to be exciting!  This division might very well be decided on the grass in October!

9/1/07:  Now Donna is in 1st!   This one is very interesting...

7/27/07:  Deanna and Donna are in 1st and 2nd, but the division is wide open...
