The Bandag BTL-SA tread design features a tough tire shoulder because deliveries force twists and scrapes on tire sidewalls as trucks back into loading docks. The campaign emphasized this important feature using a body-builder to illustrate “tough shoulders for twisting tires.” Sleeveless t-shirts were also mailed out to carry the message through.
